User guide and evidence preservation
Before you begin
Use a safer device where possible and read the privacy notice and service agreement. A monitored device may retain traces even with private browsing or quick exit.
Create a case
Choose the platform and incident type; give a short description without passwords. Provide country and other known facts without guessing. Indicate confidence in information about the reported party.
Case number and follow-up code
Keep the case number and follow-up code safe. The code grants access; it is not proof of civil identity. Do not email it or share it with anyone claiming to be support. Do not rely on recovery if it is lost.
Originals and copies
Keep the original without cropping, annotation or compression. Record URL, account name, date, time, time zone and collection method. Redaction or conversion should use a separate copy with the change documented.
Accepted files
Current rules accept PDF, PNG and JPG up to 5 MB per file. Video is not supported by the current upload route; retain the original safely without uploading it publicly.
What a file hash means
A SHA-256 hash helps compare file integrity between two points in time. It alone does not establish the account’s truth, offender identity or creation date and does not guarantee legal admissibility.
Follow-up and external requests
Use the case area for updates and evidence. Platform requests and external referrals require appropriate consent and human review. Opening a case does not file a police report.
